Mikhael Antone is an educator and visual artist. Born and raised in Rhode Island. She has a BA at Salve Regina University in Philosophy and Studio Art and an MFA in Experimental Video & Photography from School of Visual Arts. She has exhibited and screened her own work in New York at Anthology Film Archives, Void, Remote Lounge, BAM Rose Cinemas, Praxis Collective, Studio 150, College of Staten Island, Lumen Waterfront Video Festival, and throughout the United States at locations such as Bradley University, Kiernan Gallery and Camerawork Gallery.

While at the School of Visual Arts, Ms. Antone received the Aaron Siskind Award and has received numerous awards such as a Council for the Arts and Humanities of Staten Island Premier Grant funded through NYSCA and a NY Department of Cultural Affairs Grant for her documentary film To a Man about white suburban middle class young men from Staten Island’s South Shore. Ms. Antone is currently an Assistant Professor of Imaging and Photography, in the Visual Communication and Design Department at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
